A Historic Gathering: Faith and Identity Unite in Zagreb

On 5 July 2025, Zagreb witnessed one of the most remarkable public demonstrations of faith and national identity in modern European history. 

More than 500,000 people gathered at the Zagreb Hippodrome for what has been described as the largest paid concert ever held.  

What unfolded was far more than a concert. It became a powerful public affirmation of Christianity, the family, national heritage, and the enduring moral foundations that have shaped Croatian society for centuries. In an era often characterised by secularisation and demographic decline, the event demonstrated that the Christian faith remains a living and unifying force for hundreds of thousands of Europeans.
